MANGO MEADOWBRITE™
CONEFLOWER
Echinacea
hybrid ‘CBG Cone3’ PP16,636
Mango Meadowbrite™ is the second
coneflower release from the Chicago Botanic Garden breeding program. It is
similar to Orange Meadowbrite™ in most aspects except that it has no red
pigment, thus the blooms are a tropical-looking, deep rich yellow, much like
the flesh of a ripe mango fruit. It too will supply you with blooms all
summer long that are even more fragrant than other coneflowers. Recommended
for USDA zones 4 to 9.

PARANOIA CONEFLOWER
Echinacea
hybrid (purpurea x paradox)
‘Paranoia’ PP 16,587
This attractive Echinacea is unique
due to its dwarf compact habit and yellow narrow petal flowers. This
Echinacea is striking in the perennial garden, and unique as a cut flower.
Amazingly, it is only 12-inches tall when grown in the Eastern USA. The
really good news for growers is that ‘Paranoia’ has a good multiplication
rate and these divisions or “splits” can fit into cell packs. This allows a
propagator to sell as a very young plant or as a good-sized liner. USDA
cold hardiness zone 4 and possibly zone 3.
